When you add a song or hymn to your shopping cart, the first section we see are all of the audio downloads. You can see that there are lots of options. The first one listed is "Stereo Track (no vocals)." This is an accompaniment track that only has the instruments on it. Below it are three other kinds of tracks that you can purchase for this song depending on what the needs of your ministry are. The first column is "Mappable." This tells you that if you choose to SongMap this song, this file that you download will follow the map that you create. The next column is "Key." If you download this file, the music will be in the key indicated. Unless you use the Song Mapping tool, this key will not be changeable on your downloadable file.
Quantity is where you tell us how many you need. Essentially, any time you need an item in more than one place, you need to purchase a second item. it is easy to think about as if these products were not digital… if we purchased a CD of this track, we would need to purchase a second CD if they were needed to play them in two separate CD players at the same time. If we have four flute players playing off of two music stands at the same time, we would need two copies of the music. If we have five singers on the praise team, and each of them are taking home a copy of the music to learn, we would need to purchase five copies of the music.
Owned is a column shows how many you have already purchased. If today you buy those five copies of the music for your singers, and you return to the site tomorrow, that column will show a 5. If one of those charts becomes missing, we do not need to buy another… we just make another printout. However, if we add an additional singer, we would need to come back to the site and purchase one additional print copy. From then forward, the "owned" column would show 6.
Price is how much each one costs, and Total is your total cost for the number of items purchased. These fields update as you change the quantity, so you always have a running total of what you are purchasing. let us choose some items.
Here at the bottom of the page, you can see what your running total is for this purchase. Once we hit the "checkout" button, we see a list of items that we have chosen to purchase. Here we can change our mind – delete products or whole songs if we like. If at this point, we decide to add more items, we can "Choose more downloads". Once we know you are ready to continue, press the continue button down here. At this point, we are presented with the simple "Terms of Use" for the files you are purchasing. Be sure you understand what you can and can not do with the file, and then click "I understand" and Continue.
On the payment options page, there are two main fields: "Special Offer" and "Payment Options." If at anytime you have received a promotion code, you can enter it on this screen along with your payment information. To pay for your purchases, you can use a LifeWay account, a debit, or credit card. The advantage to using a LifeWay account is that if you have your tax exemption on file with LifeWay, your LifeWayWorship purchase will be tax exempt as well. On credit card orders, LifeWay is required to charge sales tax on your order. There is no provision for tax exemption on debit or credit card orders.
Once you have completed your payment information, a confirmation screen appears. Billing information is listed in the upper box, the payment information is at right, and the Order Info is listed at the bottom. you will notice the disclaimer about "estimated sales tax." The site does overestimate sales tax, and then when it bills your card, it bills you for the actual sales tax at that time. At the bottom of this screen is the "confirm your order" button. When you click this, your card is charged, or your account is billed, and you receive a receipt. You can see here that you have your billi
